All About Me

My name is Christy Farrell and I am a math teacher at Bonnette Junior High. I am excited to begin my 20th year teaching math in the Houston area. I have taught 6th, 7th, 8th and Algebra 1 students in both Pasadena ISD and Deer Park ISD. This is my fifth year as the math instructional coach at Bonnette.

 

I have been married 16 wonderful years to my husband, Joe. We have a son, Cameron, who is 13 years old and is in 8th grade. In my free time I enjoy exploring Texas, exercising, and spending family time together.

 

I am looking forward to a great year! We do most assignments in an application called Canvas. Canvas is a great app that will grade the assignments and give the students immediate feedback. I have already uploaded many helpful videos in Canvas for the students to access. Canvas works best when used in the Safari browser or on a desktop. All final grades will be in Skyward.
