Bio

Welcome to Mr. Suffron's class!

I graduated from Clear Creek High School in 1992 and attended Houston Baptist University, where I played baseball and earned a degree in Mathematics.  I began my teaching career at Bay Area Christian School in 1998, teaching junior high and high school math while coaching football, basketball and baseball.  Since that time I have taught many different places at multiple levels.  I taught math in junior highs (like Huffman Middle School), high schools (like JP Stevens High School in San Antonio) and colleges (San Jacinto Junior College).  I also earned my Masters degree in Educational Management from the University of Houston Clear Lake in 2009.  Overall this is my 26th year of teaching.

One thing you'll note about me is my love for baseball.  I love both current baseball and baseball history.  Be forewarned that I will regale you with an in-depth analysis of the Astros bullpen or Andy Pettitte's Hall of Fame case at first indication of interest so tread lightly when asking me about any baseball topic, assuming you value brevity in your conversations.

Finally, I have been happily married for 22 years to my wife Lea, who is currently the librarian at Deer Park Junior High.
