Bonnette Junior High Choir

Courtney Munsart (formerly Wagner) loves being a Bonnette Bobcat! She graduated from Deer Park in 2011, and was a DPHS Swing Choir member from 2009 to 2011. She is so happy to be teaching in her hometown and will be beginning her 9th year as a choir director! 

 

She holds a Bachelor of Music with a concentration in All Level Choral, Summa Cum Laude, from Sam Houston State University. Prior to teaching at Bonnette, she opened Oak Hills in Montgomery ISD in 2017 as the first choir director. She has experience teaching 6th-12th grade, but teaching junior high has always been her passion. Courtney is a member of Texas Choral Directors Association, Texas Music Educators Association, and Texas Music Adjudicators Association.

 

Courtney and her husband got married in July of 2021.They live in Deer Park with their toy poodle, Molly. Courtney's hobbies include singing, playing piano, traveling, reading, and walking her dog!
